A Pop of Pastel

This is my first ever fashion post - ooh how exciting! I personally am a lover of fashion and textiles, especially when developing my own style as well as adapting trends to fit my own personality. Pastels are colours I tend to wear in the summer and spring, but recently I've been loving incorporating them into my favourite autumn outfits, especially via an item typical of the season such as a hat or a coat. This is my (less extreme) take on trans seasonal dressing. If you don't know what trans seasonal dressing is, it's where really bomb models accustom their outfits for all year round wear by pairing a turtle neck with summery trainers etc. I thought, if they do such a good job swapping the items they wear - what about the colours? Anyways my chum, that was a whole lotta waffle that you most probably skipped through, so should we get to the items?

I have been obsessing over this super cute raincoat from Topshop! It's such a gorgeous mint colour that is perfect for the cutesy vibe I was going for. It's also available in pink, yellow, white and blue, other great pastel colours. Whenever I wear this, I seem to receive loads of compliments on it. I pair it with basically an outfit, adding a fresh feel to it.

This jumper from Miss Selfridge is actually my favourite thing in my wardrobe at the moment! I'm obsessed with the exaggerated sleeve and the fit of it. It's super cute and I love it.

Mom jeans are a great way to add a little colour, but not as much as a big jumper. My favourite are these from Miss Selfridge , which is also my favourite shop for jeans and for anything recently. They're really dainty and pretty, and they go perfectly with my pink jumper if I want something super colourful.

Sorry this is quite short and very different to my usual kind of post, I just wanted to share something I've been thinking about for a while. I am by no means a model or a fashion influencer, I love nothing more than wearing my pyjamas all day! Hope your having a brill day chum x
